NATIONAL YOUTH MELA (CAMP)

FIFTH NATIONAL YOUTH MELA 2011, POKHARA

The Fifth National Youth Mela (Camp) held at Pokhara of Kaski district from 20 -21 June 2011. During the 2-day program, various indoor sessions and out-door activities were held.

Under the indoor sessions, the participants were introduced to Amnesty International, the Role of Youth Networks in AI Campaign and Leadership while more sessions on Campaigning Framework, Creative Campaign Techniques and AI Nepal's Priority Campaigns were conducted. The participants also were introduced about campaigning techniques practically by allowing opportunity to perform Role-plays and Group Discussions. Uttam Sapkota, Rajan Kuinkel, Rameshwar Nepal and representatives of Youth Network National Working Group facilitated those sessions.

The Fourth National Youth Mela (Camp) held at Pokhara of Kaski district from 12-13 June 2010. During the two-day program, various indoor sessions and out-door activities were held.

THIRD NATIONAL YOUTH MELA 2009, CHITWAN

The Third National Youth Mela (Camp) held at Sauraha of Chitwan district from 9-11 April 2009. During the three-day program, various indoor sessions and out-door activities were held.

SECOND NATIONAL YOUTH MELA 2008, DHULIKHEL

The Second National Youth Mela (Camp) was held at Dhulikhel of Kavrepalanchowk from 31 May to 1 June 2008. During the two-day program, various indoor session and out-door activities were held.

FIRST NATIONAL YOUTH MELA 2007, POKHARA

The First National Youth Mela (Camp) was held in Pokhara from 15 to 16 June 2007. During the two-day program, various indoor session and out-door activities were held. Under the indoor sessions, the participants were introduced to Amnesty International, the role of youth network, Campaigning framework and techniques and Letter Writing.
