Nepali translated version of Compilation of Global Principles for Arms Transfers released

The Nepali translated version of Compilation of Global Principles for Arms Transfers was released at a Press Conference organized in Kathmandu on September 20, 2008.

At the program, Dhruba Kumar Karki, Acting Chairperson of Amnesty International (AI) Nepal released the compilation while Chandra Kumar Adhikari, General Secretary of AI Nepal delivered welcome speech and highlighted the objective of the program. Rameshwar Nepal, Director of  AI Nepal shed light on various aspects of the book and the Control Arms Campaign.

Along with the invited journalists, Advisors of AI Nepal Nutan Thapaliya and Pradeep Pokharel, National Executive Committee Members Geeta Neupane, Sharada Sharma and Bikram Dhukuchhu and AI Nepal's Group members were present at the program.

The Nepali version of the Compilation is published by AI Nepal, as part of its initiatives under the ATT global week of Control Arms Campaign.
